My comic book life began in the mid 1970’s. My brother Jon & I would ride our bikes on Wednesday mornings to the 7-11, about a mile away, to wait for the magazine delivery truck. We wanted to be the first in line to purchase the latest issues of the comic book series we followed. My brother was primarily Amazing Spiderman, I was all about the Green Arrow, & the Justice League. We paid for our comic books initially with our allowance money and eventually with paperboy delivery earnings.
